Graduation Speech......

I have had some amazing years being part of district 67. I have learned so many different things like from learning my ABC’s to learning how to diagnose someone with a disease. When I think of graduation I think of our fourth grade ceremony just a lot more formal. But we are repeating a lot of the same steps like the diplomas we are getting are the certificates that we got in fourth grade. Graduation is just another stepping stone in our life but that doesn’t mean it’s over we still have a long way to go this is all just some preparation for what comes next. But something that I have got to admit is that 8th grade was probably the best year just because of what we all made of it. We were very close to our teachers because we joked around with them so much like in Mrs.Joyners class how one day someone told her to be quiet because they were on the phone with an uber driver and how we used to have the 3 stooges and randomly wasting class time to show us funny videos. And going to Mr.Carris is class and talking about who is going to get detention because they were late. Overall the entire 67 staff, our parents and anyone else that has joined the ride with us. We very much know that we may not be the easiest people to handle but you did a great job on being able to help through all of our learning. You all made us into the young adults we are today and thank you for all you have done we very much appreciate you.

Now to my fellow classmates we have had a ride a Golf. We have made many amazing memories here at district 67 from the times from being super stressed over all the test we had and all of the things we needed to do to graduate to just having fun and relaxing in class. I think we have made a good impact to our school and I feel like our stories will go on for years. But the chapter of our middle school has come to an end and the chapter to high school is just starting. I thank you all for making my year sat golf great. And I guarantee it will be like that in High School. So again thank you.

It's complicated

Something that is complicated is finals. Finals is complicated because you don't necessarily know how to prepare for it. Even tho your teachers tell you what to prepare for because sometimes they stress more about one topic then a another and then the student ends up thinking that they need to study more about that and they only study that topic. And then BAM!!!!!!! They fail there final. But sometimes teachers also don't always say a topic that's on the final and they say they cover everything for you and just study what they say and you do do but then you see something that you don't know and you like.... AAAAHHHH IDK WHAT IS THIS!!!!!! And BAM you fail again.

Tribute to my cousin Sammy

When I was 6 years old my cousin Sammy passed away on December 7 2008. I remember that day very vividly. I was wearing a red dress waiting for Santa to come down the street because there was some sort of Christmas parade. Right when I was about to leave my mom got a phone call that he was in the hospital and that he was in a very bad car accident. My mom started screaming. I didn't know what was going on and my mom didn't want to tell me because I was still very young. And I also remember leaving very quickly to the hospital. Right when we got there we heard he had passed away. So, here's to Sammy.

A Tribute To Sammy 

Sammy always had a smile on his face never did he have a bad attitude. He treated me like his little sister and always defended me when it came to arguments with my brothers. He would always ask his mom to teach him how to dance and he would always be dancing with my family. He was also an amazing soccer player he always did what his coach told him and excelled in the position they put him on.He was also an amazing student he had good grades and never missed a homework assignment  Sammy was my favorite cousin and it still seems surreal he is gone.

3 people I would choose to spend a day with........

I would hang out with Mushu, Genie from Aladdin, and Selena. I have chosen these three people because Mushu is probably one of the funniest characters from a Disney movie and same thing with the Genie except I could be able to grant three wishes and Selena is probably my favorite Latin American singer. So what we would do is 1 go on a tour of downtown Chicago, after that we would either go to Navy Pier or go to winter wonder fest. Once we finish that we would come back to the suburbs and I would take them to Portilos because that's one of the best places to eat at. Then we would go to the movies and watch something very funny. And that would be out day. 

My Favorite Field Trip

My favorite field trip was when we went to Springfield in 7th grade. It was fun because it was basically spending a whole day with all your friends taking pictures mimicking statues or pictures. And we also went to McDonald's and Chuck e cheese. Chuck e cheese was fun because we made all the games there competitive and we got to dance with chuck e. But probably the best part was the bus ride because we watched movies talked with our friends and we sang a long to lots of songs. Spring field was an amazing trip that I would love to experience again. 

Selena Review

The movie Selena was very heart warming and sad. I liked the way JLO was able to act like her and she danced about the way that Selena would. I  also liked liked the way the directors added her boosteeyay in the movie and how they showed that she did designed her own cloths. The director did a great job on the movie I liked it a lot!!!
